Panda back2back I
Oilpainting on cardboard of an giant panda
The word ‘Panda’ is a degeneration of the Nepali word ‘Poonya’ which means bamboo-eater. In this part the panda is shown as a cuddly animal as we know it in the western world. This is an illusion as many things in life. In the second painting, the contrary to this innocent-looking animal can be found. A parallel is made with the life that sometimes seems different at first sight.
